I know times are hard for those in our industry, but our ills pale in comparison to their suffering.

i beg to differ but everybody has their own set of priorities - earthquakes come and go, tube sites, bad economy, are here to stay.

well... 100,000s dead is more than just an earthquake come and go
just because you can not relate to the dead doesnt make it a tragedy

oh and btw. that kind of each-for-his-own attitude has put this industry in a lot of the shit that has happened in the past couple of years :2 cents:

@Mutt tube sites aren't a problem when you don't have electricity...or running water...or food...or shelter...and the bodies of people you know and love are piling up around you.
