PLEASE SUPPORT AIDHAITIRELIEF.COM

Dear Colleagues,

As most of you are obviously aware there has been a severe 7.0 Earthquake in the country of Haiti that has essentially crippled the entire nation. Initial estimates for projected deaths were at 50,000 but have now risen to a more likely 100,000. We have just eclipsed the 72 hour mark since the disaster took place and the desperation is setting in heavily among the people recovering in the country right now. The power of mother nature does not discriminate. This has affected all residents of the country, men, women, children of all ages, races and nationalities. Time is of the essence, the more time that elapses the higher the death toll will rise. We must act now. Very rarely do we have the ability to help this many people with such little effort when it is needed so desperately. These people are lacking the bare essentials for survival, water, food, medicine, and shelter. We can make a difference!

As a member of the Adult industry that is capable of doing so much so quickly, I beg you, my friends, sponsors, affiliates, colleagues, and anyone else that has come across this site please support us in doing what little we can to make a difference for those whose futures? are very dim right now. My team and I have put aside our work for the day and created this simple one page website that will be put live across all of our online properties by the end of the day.

Please look into your hearts and utilize the millions of eyeballs we all control daily. Put up a banner on your tgps, tubes, galleries, mpgs, paysites, members areas, wherever you can possibly think of that surfers will view and possibly contribute to it. It doesn't make a difference if your site gets 1000 views a day or 1,000,000, everyone click can count! Our industry is often looked at as the black sheep, I for one believe we are one of the most advanced industries alive and can immediately make an impact and show the world how far our resolve can reach. Again, I'm begging all of you, don't be lazy take a few minutes or an hour, pledge what you can yourself and get these banners we provide up on your sites linking back to AidHaitiRelief.com and please promote donations for these people that are suffering so immensely.

I will personally make a donation of $10,000 USD to get us started on the right foot and the CE team will place these banners in every spot we can find to help make an impact. I have faith in our industry and the people behind it, prove me right, make a difference and donate today.

Thank you,

Ardy

Awesome!!

This is what its all about. Stuff like this is what leaders are made of and seeing the adult community come together to help people in need gives me a sense of humble pride in knowing that this biz does in fact produce good solid people with a strong regard for humanity.

I have donated and will spread the word on your efforts as it represents what I believe to be the majority of character types that make up this biz ... stuff like this lets the world know the same.

Good Stuff:thumbsup

TheSenator 01-15-2010 08:03 PM

Kudos to you for putting this together. It is during times like this when people really show what they're made of and I'm very proud to be part of your family ;)

I myself have been trying to figure out a way I can do some hands on assistance but hesitating about going to yet another island! I'll figure out a way!!!

every donation link on there goes to it's respective fund. So what does this have to do with him?

CE_Ardy 01-16-2010 02:47 PM

To all those that have donated and put up links I thank you, to those that are claiming this is a pr stunt or something we benefit from $ wise, well, simply read the url of this board and apply it to yourself.

We did this simply because we can, it is costing us thousands of impressions throughout our network, and myself and my staff have put hours and hours into this.

fatfoo 01-16-2010 02:56 PM

CECASH sponsors Haiti aid? CECASH is a generous philanthropic company.

Pleasurepays 01-16-2010 03:01 PM

pretty fucking low to use a nations tragedy and a trail of death and carnage as a marketing vehicle for attention.

if you "care" - just send money. simple as that. no need to let the world know about unless your motivations are dubious.

Pleasurepays 01-16-2010 03:05 PM

"sponsored by cybererotica" in all your banners

what a bunch of lowlife dickheads.

jesus man. i have little shame but what the fuck?

Wow, you raise money for those in need and in turn you get flack from a bunch of board trolls, I am very proud of our company and team for helping the situation in Haiti. You maggots can sit and cry as much as you want, the intention is for good.

Any person that matters in our business knows the people behind this push and our goals as we have spoken to many of our colleagues personally. We will continue to put our banners out there and push for donations.

And why put our name behind it, one strong company supporting an issue forces reaction but other reputable companies....I suppose google should take their name of their charities as well

no... has NOTHING to do with "raising money"

has EVERYTHING to do with using a horrible tragedy like the death of 100,000 people to promote YOUR BUSINESS to WEBMASTERS. even your fucking banners say "SPONSORED BY CYBEREROTICA" - holy fuck man.. i hope Ron has the sense to fire some of you fucking morons.

if you've gone this far, i don't expect you to understand whats wrong with holding up a dead baby and saying "hey, look our company"

:2 cents:

"a charity" and the companies/individuals that tend to support charities, largely for tax reasons and general goodwill is hardly the same as "disaster relief as people are dying by the 1000s"

again.. not too surprising that you can't understand the difference.

Ardy, I applaud your efforts and that it came from the heart.

I have donated what I could afford and have also helped spread the word to the thousands in the TAB Network.

--
for others whom are bashing about a pr stunt...

the words 'sponsored by' are being taken out of context because of how we are used to perceiving them.

CE 'sponsored' the effort with their time and staff to create marketing tools to help raise funds - if you notice, the link does not go to a CECash.com/Haiti page - it goes right to a portal for people to choose OUTSIDE charities in which to donate to - CE provided the ease of creating a portal. And banners to push THAT portal. Not a CE site.

For those hanging on to the words 'sponsored by' = think of it as 'Provided By' CyberErotica.

And please note in the post that not only does CE not make money directly off this --ARDY donated $10,000 of his OWN MONEY on top of his time.

One of the most real people in this business spearheaded this effort.

So I encourage everyone to let go of negative perceptions about this and into their hearts which is where I know this thread and its purpose was 'provided' from.

Thank you again to Ardy and the entire CE team who reached out from a good place and to those that are giving to Haiti on their own or through the tools provided by CECash.

My Best,
Lori Z.

That's what I was thinking.

I commend them for doing this, but lose the "sponsored by" baloney. It makes you look cheap with mixed intentions.

Thanks Lori, don't worry the trolls don't bother me, real industry leaders are stepping up and making large donations because of this effort, when this is all said and done I will put up a post of all the contributions made by each person.

As you said, we simply put together a page to call action from our industry, the reason our banners say cybererotica.com on them is because we have put them live throughout hundreds of our online properties owned by cybererotica.com. There is so many good people in our industry, sometimes they just need a nudge to lend a hand.

Thanks for sending out all the newsletters and putting this up around the web, every last $ counts.

DatingGold 01-16-2010 08:08 PM

I know Ardy well and his intentions are merely to help those less fortunate than us in a time of great tragedy. Great job Ardy.

Big deal if there is a little PR out of it. Google, George Clooney and countless others donate and get a little PR. The bottom line is helping.

I'm off to donate some $$ myself.
