JLC Memovox

xxweekxx 01-15-2010 07:20 PM

i meant can you guys post links to sites selling em, so that way i can buy one.. wanna order one today

CYF 01-15-2010 07:21 PM

thewatchery.com has good deals. Overstock.com does too.

Manufacturer might not honor the warranty if the watch is grey market like that instead of from a licensed dealer.

chupachups 01-15-2010 07:24 PM

check joseph-watches.com and chrono24.com

MaDalton 01-15-2010 08:17 PM

i get about 50-80 emails a day about watches, just post your email and i forward them to you

marketsmart 01-15-2010 08:31 PM

you will get more as with a rolex than any other watch.. most girls have no idea about patek's or other high end watches but they all know rolex..

make the investment.. it will pay off... you can get a used sub for a few grand..

xxweekxx 01-15-2010 08:34 PM

LOL...I have a Submariner...and a Breitling...and a 1947 Movado...and a 1972 Cartier Tank...and a collection of Swatches and all of that shit...I am crazy, but I really love watches. The watches that truly impress, I can't afford.
What would I buy for a thousand that would impress.....probably nothing. But that is qualified by who you want to impress. I lived in Europe for a very long time. Watches there will impress. And here's the deal...the watch you wear for lunch, better not be the same watch you wear for dinner.

You wanna keep time? Buy a twenty dollar Casio. It is way more accurate. A good call, MS.

chupachups 01-16-2010 05:35 PM

Buy a red letter Submariner if you want one, not that it will impress anyone but a connoisseur though;)

Id rather buy and wear the $20 casio than that... it has no character or look at all... might as well say "Waterproof" across the top...

Err rolexes are not as expensive as you think. (Especially stainless). In fact rolex is pretty entry-level in the watch world...

Citizen watches have been my brand of choice from since I was old enough to buy myself one.

Search here.

EcoDrives never need a battery and don't require winding.

I like simplicity and presently wear this one

Neither. For the past decade I've only purchased jeeps or SUVs.

I do have an '86 VW Beetle though. (pet project)

Well, those watches will be perfect for you. I don't think they put clocks in 86 Beetles. In fact I didn't even know they made them in 86.

StaceyJo 01-16-2010 11:34 PM

lol you kidding? Think they made beetles in the 1930's already

quiet 01-17-2010 02:47 AM

i'm not really into the whole watch thing. i have a Tissot T-Touch that comes in handy for backcountry snowboarding and hiking, and has survived some serious abuse, as well as a Suunto (which i rarely use, but same idea). that's it.

Waddymelon 01-17-2010 02:54 AM

I picked up a nice Breitling at the Palms the other day, make you a sweet deal on it.
