In the World Net Daily forums, there is a section that asks posters to ask open questions to the president. If you want to truly understand why Obama got more death threats in in first few months in office than any other president in the entirety of their term(s), just read this forum.

The WND is basically a propaganda website for far right Christian radicals. Over the last few days, they have been criticizing Obama for offering help to Haiti when Americans are out of work. Can you believe these fucking idiots? Didn't Jesus tell his Christians to feed and clothe the poor? When I read the parable of the Good Samaritan, the message I get is that God wants people to help their neighbors in need, EVEN THE ONES WITH FUNNY NAMES WHO SPEAK DIFFERENT LANGUAGES AND HAVE TANNED SKIN.

The Jesus of the bible is nothing like these people. Can anyone explain to me how they could have ever gotten this way?

I can't understand how in one breath they can say they don't want government interfering in their lives by imposing taxes and making them buy health care insurance, and in the other demand that government interfere in the lives of women by forcing them to carry a pregnancy to term and homosexuals by making same sex marriage illegal. The more extreme nuts voted for candidates like Alan Keyes and Chuck Baldwin of the Constitution Party, which is a REAL joke. I don't see why you are amazed, actually. They are ignorant enough to believe that the earth is only 6000 years old... when in reality it is approximately 4.5 billion years old. They believe that a book, that was largely written during the Bronze Age, is infallible and they pray to an invisible being that they have never seen, smelled or touched that hasn't been seen, smelled or touched in recorded history. They also believe that thousands of additional invisible beings exist and have influence over reality.

Actually it isn't specific to any one religion. In Revelation 7:4 it clearly states the number to be saved: "And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel."

It further more goes on to say that number is made up of 12,000 of each tribe of the children of Israel (12 tribes). 12 x 12,000=144,000.

That is in EVERY version of the bible, therefore open to ALL religions who rely on it[the bible].

So TECHNICALLY all these crazy christians and muslims don't have a prayer of a chance for salvation. I would say it is clearly stated right there in the good book that the Jews are the chosen ones.

There is a huge difference between discussing your knowledge of what is written in the bible versus belief in it. One does not preclude the other.

You aren't one of those types that shudder at the mention of or quotes from the bible, a simple book, by some belief it might affect you in some way are you?

I find that it is the most powerful tool in which to SHOW that religion and those who practice it are completely without reason or intelligence and live lives of hypocrisy in direct opposition to the religion they profess to follow.

Don't fear the book, fear the ones who wield it as a weapon and use it as a means to justify their intolerance.
