DRAMA - MediaJerky.Com Not Paying Affiliates!!
Fist off, I want to say this is not about TOS. I have not violated anything. It is now past the middle of january and still have not been paid for december. I stopped promoting them last week until I get paid. I talked to Tyler which is the affiliate manager over a week ago and he said the person who does the accounting was out sick for a few days. After countless emails with no response I figure they are broke and cant pay. Im owed $815 and change and I want it. I would not recommend this company at all. They don't seem to pay on time and in this case as of now, not at all. Very unprofessional. Nothing worse then having to chase sponsors for payment. Do you damn job. I have been patient enough and its over.

Also, it seems they have not paid anyone for December...
I hope you get your $$!
Ya, me too. Thanks...

Looks like Wonderwoman is no longer with them, probably the same reason she got canned from fling, ggw, and whoever else she worked for. |
that is not good :(
here we go again
This is why I sell my traffic and avoid affiliate programs.
argggg :(
Wow, that was fast. In and out of biz in 6 months?
A Shame Really for me that is having to deal with shit like this.
I've known Lin for awhile and he's always paid us, including for December and it was a nice chunk of change. I'm sure there's good reason and I personally hope everything gets sorted for you guys. I linked him here.
Good luck man. You're a good guy and I hope it gets resolved.

The non-payment issue is happening in all sectors of business. The company that I do IT work has over 80 grand in outstanding sales that are three months past due. My video company that I run has problems with clients not paying on the remainder of the bill after the shoots, or making BS excuses as to why they won't pay.
It is not at all unexpected to see quite a few adult sites go bust. I feel sorry for all of the unpaid affiliates but even I know that it a risk that I took by being an affiliate. |
Damn..I hate when this is happening..hope you'll get your earned money.

madison ave v2.0

Don't companies like this get pre paid by advertisers for ads ran on their network to be placed on your sites?
Either way they should be responsible to pay...
this fucking sucks
Your telling me :(
Sorry to here dude hope you get your cash...
ya me too...
This is going to be a rough year... sorry to hear that.
God i hope not....This start fuckin sucks...
MediaJerky.Com - what a drama!
drama drama that hopefully ends with a payment of what is owed to me.
Okay, one of my clients sent me this thread and asked me what I thought...
You need to choose a network carefully if you want to go that route. What is very common is a new network starts up, promises to "pay you more" and sometimes they do for awhile, and sometimes they don't. We (JuicyAds) have been having a problem with our Paypal payments lately.. delays loading funds. We have had similar problems with ePassporte in the past and I don't pretend like we have made every payment on time -- because we haven't, but everyone is PAID. Sometimes there are legitimate delays. But I know for damn sure, that when a payment is late -- I tell the affiliate why its late, and when to expect it, and they get paid. Often times if there is a delay that affects a lot of publishers, we post it on our public news area for transparency. I sincerely hope that you get paid... but every time this happens it makes the legitimate networks look bad, and that's not really fair. Best of luck. |

We've run into more issues as of late with Epass too. They're getting a bit more difficult to work with anymore.
Here's a bump, good luck!

Sorry to hear that.
I was selling them one of my IM ads on prepaid deals and they paid on time for 3 months, but last month they wanted to switch me to CPM instead of flat rate so i smelt something fishy and said no, so glad i did seeing this. I was scammed already $5k by Madisonavenue and have had enough with new traffic brokering companies for a while. The sad thing is that there is no reason for a broker to stop paying, they get paid in advance by advertisers, so they just need to keep their % and pay the rest to the publishers, but i guess they are too impatient to get profit and decide to expend it all before paying instead of just expending their %. |
