Got top Google Ranks - Can't Convert - Help needed
 

I've outsourced a building of a few adult blogs, lately i'm doing mainly mainstream but i thought about trying some adult.

Here is an example of one of them:

It's located #1-#2 in google for 'bbw', gets about 2,000-3000 hits/day from google that that search term.

and so far i made 0.000 sales in more than a few weeks period...

am i doing someting wrong ?

Look through your stats see where they are coming in and leaving etc. may just need to tweak them more.

BBW = Nice fat (no pun intended) term. I say keep tweaking your theme until you get something that converts. Since you're on WP, ask FRIS for some help.

Nice SERPs. What's your bounce rate for your home page? If it's high, I'd put a picture of a BBW above the fold as the only ones there at the minute are in the ads which are tiny and difficult to see with the rest of the ad distracting.

I bet your bounce rate is 99%

see what looks great for engines, sometimes dont look good for humans

picture a surfer looking for bbw movies, he hits your page and he runs as fast as he can, its too busy, too hectic for him.

If you where to simply have 15 teaser pics and some nice wording recommending a site in a review format, then a link to that site (make sure that site is worth a fuck) then you will see sales

I have one site (blog) running on www.blabla.com/blog and the root I have basically a clean FPA str8 to the point and it does pretty well.

I'd say the main problem is that once you hit the site the whole visible screen is filled with ads instead of content.

So, how long have you been working there and how is your job CryBaby...? :winkwink:

How many clicks are you sending to the sponsors each day? Might be time to change it up and swap some new sponsors in their place.

Your site looks like ad heaven, for god sake remove the fukkking ads and write decent posts.

I agree with Carlos, the ads are not helping. Remove half of them and see what happens.

As for BBW, not my cup of tea, though I suspect it is a small market that likes BBW. perhaps some fetish or something else in the mix?

I don't know some of that content makes me want to leave that site. I think people forget what one of those Bs in BBW is supposed to stand for.

Also just because someone types in BBW doesnt mean he's looking for hardcore porn or any porn for that matter.

I'm pretty sure that most of your potential customers would use these searches or variants of them.

I'd try a dating site for bbw's specifically instead of porn. BBW isn't necessarily an xxx keyword.

If you don't understand the niche you're selling, chances are you will convert poorly.

I can see it right away: All your pics are linking straight to the exact same sponsor. There's nothing wrong with linking straight to the tour, but you have every single pic going to the same site. Add some new sponsors in there. And no offense to the sponsor you're using, but I wouldn't sign up to that site either. Since there's no other sponsors, if someone doesn't like that site (and it appears they don't) that leaves you with nothing. Add some variety in there, it'll make a huge difference.

If you don't sell them on a sponsor sell them on visiting your site again. Try writing a very judgmental review of the current sponsor. Let them know you are looking for more entertainment. Get it on!

Actually when most surfers click a pic they expect a larger pic or a link to a movie. If I was a surfer I'd feel like I was being tricked. So right there I'm distrusting.

It doesn't work that way though... there's no way to generalize "hot".

You can sell anything if you have the right traffic, the main keyword its ranking for might have to be reanalyzed.

i'm not in that niche... but those women are hogs and morbidly obese... i don't think thats really what that niche is supposed to be... or what those people are searching for.

personally, i would tell you to forget about most of the advice here. first and foremost, you have to understand what users are searching for exactly (for the bulk of them anyway) and figure out what content is best representative of what they are looking for. FROM THERE.... you start looking at ways to increase / improve clicks to pay sites, look at conversions, which sponsors perform better etc.

design elements, layout etc is often on of the most counter-intuitive aspects of this biz. i wouldn't think too hard on that initially.

I think you need to add some embeds onto that page and link to fhg instead of straight to the site.
