Good Steak House In Paris?
 

Can anyone recommend a good steak house in Paris? Going there February 12 till 15 and I wanna take my girlfriend for a nice steak on Valentines day. Ideally I want to get us booked into the Eiffel Tower for dinner, but that doesnt look possible now.

Any good restaraunts are also welcome'd. We don't eat seafood or dumb shit like snails etc lol.

If not my favorite is le relais de l'entrecôte, there's one close the george V

L'entrecote isn't a non classy affair, and it's argued it's the best steak / entrecote in paris. The queues are rediculous sometimes.

The brasserie just diagonally opposite from that isn't bad either - not so much the place for a romantic dinner though.

The Jules Verne isn't the best restraunt, but if you're going for the romantic thing and she digs the eiffel tower, sure..

You could always do the best of both worlds: go to a nice place to eat, and then stroll on the champs-de-mars [fields in front of the eiffel tower] and pop a bottle of whatever.

Not fancy, just nice with good food that I can eat.

Seconded, steak frites at Le Relais de Venise, only thing they make and not too fancy. Only real draw back is no reservations and its always packed.

but damn that sauce they pour over the frites, chicken liver thyme cream dijon and ?? is to die for

If you can't find good restaurants in Paris then something is wrong. There must be tons of great places to eat. Try to get your hands on the No Reservations episode where Tony Bourdaine goes to Paris. He goes to one restaurant in particular that looks absolutely amazing!

Here's some for you:

1. Relais de Venise - Porte Maillot located on "Boulevard Pereire"
2. Le Relais de l'Entrecôte - Golden triangle located on "Rue Marbeuf"
3. Le Louchebem - Les Halles "Rue Berger" --> Hard to get in there!!
