What just happened here?

DamianJ 01-28-2010 08:21 AM

I've got another one in a similar style.

It is 1927. You are in Germany. You need to know a girl's name that is in the same bar as you. There are 14 people at the bar, two are called Fritz. How do you find out the girl's name?

frankie_gunn 01-28-2010 08:25 AM

Turn one wagon's lights on, then count the other wagons until you get to the one which has the lights on.

I'm curious about the girl's name though.

There is no spoon. There never was one.

AaronM 01-28-2010 06:19 PM

I'd have to double check with baddog but as far as I know, wagon trains don't have lights.

I don't get it. Is there no separation between the train cars? There would have to be some sort of movable joint between each car if it's bent into a circle.

Why would it be so hard to count the cars?

pornguy 01-28-2010 06:54 PM

Here is a better one.. take the number 12. Divide it in half and each half will equal 7

I don't get it, which part is tricky?
you must have forgotten some critical detail to the puzzle...
like the fact that you are blind or something.. :1orglaugh

PornstarXS 01-29-2010 12:32 AM

who cares how many wagons there are, if it's in a circle the train is going nowhere. but tell keanu to keep it over 50.

Each wagon can have lights on or off.
You don't know what the correct situation in the train is so there might be some wagons with lights on and then some as maybe with lights off.
so you must think of a way to be sure you made a full circle and counted all the wagons

Answer please! :)

wild johnny 01-31-2010 01:26 PM

Start with the last wagon and then ad the first wagon count the middle wagons by two's skipping the ones with their lights off. then count the ones with their lights off and add all together and divide by one. Well that's how I would do it..Laughing!!

So Did I get it right?

SmokeyTheBear 01-31-2010 01:39 PM

the guy driving should know, so you yell " hey driver , how many wagons on this train"

or you could push someone under the wagons and count how many times the train bounces over his body.

L-Pink 01-31-2010 01:50 PM

Pee on the floor and walk (counting) through all of the "wagons" until you arrive back at the original.

WTF?

This is not even English. You cannot present a puzzle to the forum unless your opening statement is in fucking English. Those are English language words, but the sentence is incoherent.

A train with a circle shape which wagons?

This is nonsense. Fuck you for hurting my brain.
