***HOSTING needed***

Hello everyone,

Hosting needed:

1. data center has to be located in California (preferred LA, San Diego)
2. good customer service/support
3. equipment might be needed IF prices are reasonable (rack space, servers, load balanced server and raid storage, etc..)
4. looking for a long term business relationship
5. PRICING is a main concern!

PS: E-mail must hold detailed information please in order to make comparisons.

Shoot Frank an e-mail at: PatronMedia [at] gmail dot com

Thanks you!

I'll shoot you an email tonight about this, but I will need some questions answered regarding server specs if you did use our servers as well as bandwidth usage.

Thanks, Sly. :)

which means your prices are high to cover the cost of your empire? :)

TidalWave 01-29-2010 11:47 PM

Entry into the empire is remarkably affordable :)

SplitInfinity 01-29-2010 11:48 PM

SplitInfinity/Suavemente can offer you extremely low pricing because we own our own data-center in San Diego, CA. We are a carrier-neutral facility offering over 40GBPS connectivity. We have DIRECT connectivity to one-wilshire from San Diego and have many providers to offer custom pricing/bandwidth blends from making us the only obvious choice. :-)

We have been in business since 1994.

I will email you now.

Amerinoc, formerly known as Phatservers, have the best customer support I've
seen from any company in any industry. They also really know their stuff - Mike,
the owner, has been doing server admin since like the 1980s.

At first glance, the pricing ranges from extremely low to medium depending on your
needs, but in the end they are among the cheapest. I say "at first glance" and
"in the end" because you want to consider how much does it cost when your server
gets rooted and your site is down because the person who set it up missed some
important security related settings? If the server admin doesn't know to use "noatime"
and instead sells you on a bigger RAID array, in a bigger box, how much more do
you pay for that larger server? Paying a little "more" for top notch expertise can be
much cheaper than dealing with the end results of an admin who is fresh out of school.

If any lurkers sign up for this promo, you will be sorry. Dreamhost sucks balls on a whole new level... unless you don't mind your sites being down half the time, and slow or sluggish the other half of the time.
