Question for XBOX360 Players
 

Is there anything that has come out since Oblivion, that matches that rpg? I fucking loved that game!

Fallout 3 is similar (open world design).

Another good RPG is Dragon Age: Origins, although it is more linear. Mass Effect was OK, although it was my least favourite of the titles mentioned.

Other than that there hasn't been many good western style RPG's. I can't stand the Japanese crap.

Fallout 3 = Incredible Game (for the most part, a couple irritating glitches along the way)

Fallout 3 as already mentioned. It's by the same group (Bethesda) that put out Oblivion.

One of my friends from High School was one of the quest writers for F3. You can easily spend 100 hours playing this game.

I cant either. Man, Bethesda is probably one of the most badass gaming companies out there. They have Brink coming out this year. It's like the fallout engine on acid. http://www.brinkthegame.com/ It is probably, hands down, one of the most realistic shooters i have ever seen. The rendering is fucking beautiful, people. Sweet Jesus, please take a minute to check out the link. You will thank me. Yes, my girlfriend recently got Oblivion for me on Xmas, and I just love it. It seems like it is the core fallout engine. Very familiar, very cool. But I will say that the Fantasy games, especially set in the time period of Oblivion is very cool. God I hope they release another one this year or next. They are saying Fallout 4 in 2011...

I haven't touched an FF game in years but this one looks great.

Fallout: New Vegas is scheduled for 2010 before Fallout 4 even from what I've read.

Bethesda makes badass games, one of those companies that you have to pay attention to when they got a new release comig out. Even WET was an awesome fucking game. If you could accept that is was a shooter meant to be played in a tony hawkish kind of way. I enjoyed it a lot.

Brink looks fucking incredible as well, can't wait til it's out.

Final Fantasy finally making it's way to xbox is awesome. Now I don't have to keep around a sony machine.

Well except the PS3 version will only have to be on one disc vs at least 3 for the XBOX 360. And the PS3 version will have extra content the 360 won't have because of it's limitations.

Multiple discs doesn't really break my heart, look at all the old psx releases with multiple discs. That never held anyone back. I'll be more than happy to play a slightly cut back version of the game on 360.
