missingmoney.com Just got me $300 I didn't know I had coming
 

Search your name, you never know. I have a life insurance policy that paid me a dividend of $300 in 1984 but they couldn't find me so they turned it over to the state, the state reported it to missingmoney.com. I'm now $300 richer tan I was 5 minutes ago!!

It's a real site. Seen it on the news before and on some talk show too where they handed a woman a huge check of "found money".

its real.. i only put my last name, but it came up with a record of my first name, address, probably some little money owed for a tax refund or something, who knows..

MissingMoney is the site most of the states here use for their abandoned property division. If you have a bank account or insurance policy, or something that tries to pay you and can't they are required to turn it over to the state and the state holds it, without interest until it is claimed.

Mine said less than $100 too and it was actually $312.85.
