No machine guns are allowed for personal use...unless you obtain a special Federal License...and they are not easy to come by. Only semi-automatics are allowed for personal use.

Semi-automatic AK47's are allowed for personal use but not full automatic/machine gun AK47's.

im pretty sure you can legally have any assault rifle/smg/pistol that is semi-auto

Waddymelon 02-03-2010 01:43 PM

theking is wrong (again)

Machine guns are perfectly legal in the USA if made before 1986, and if allowed by your state. Most states allow them. You need to get what is known as a "Class 3" tax stamp from the BATF and that normaly takes about 2 months and costs $200.00

Yes, a normal citizen can own a machine gun. You pass your background check, you get your chief law enforcement officer to sign the form, you get fingerprinted, you send all of that and $200 to the BATF, and wait. When they send the tax stamp back to you, you pick up your machine gun from your friendly neighborhood Class-3 firearms dealer and go have fun.

You could also set up a trust or corporation and skip the fingerprints and the Chief LEO sign off.

You can buy a machine gun, a silencer, a short barrel rifle, a short barrel shotgun, and a class 2 destructive device (think streetsweeper shotgun) and legaly own it.

Unless you live in California like me, then you cant have shit. Motherfuckin liberals running shit here.

Read my post again..."unless you obtain a special Federal License".

if you run a corp you can have the corp buy the weapon and then you simply store the weapon for the corp and as an officer of the co. you can use it on behalf of the corporation, bypassing all the batf form 4 stuff.

Waddymelon 02-03-2010 01:51 PM

Fucking federal machine gun license, hard to come by. I think theking just pulls this shit straight out of his ass.

Technically it is not called a license...but effectively it is a license...and what do you think the BATF is...if it is not a Federal Agency? And I have known people that have applied and have been denied...so they are not passed out like candy...you are now dismissed.

Q. Do I have to have a license to own a Class III weapon ?

A. The ATF does NOT required you to have a "license" to own Class III weapons, there is however a $200.00 transfer tax to be paid on each Machinegun, Suppressor, Short Barrelled Rifle & Short Barrelled Shotgun & there is a $5.00 transfer tax on AOW's (Any other Weapons)

Q. What are the requirements to own a Class III weapon ?

A. * You have to live in a state where Class III weapons are legal.
*You have to be a US citizen.
* At least 21 yoa.
* Never been convicted of a Felony or Domestic Violence (felony of misdemeanor).
* Never been dishonorably discharged from the military.
* Never been adjudicated mentally defective.

omg, you're just too fuckin stupid to talk to.

here's a hint for you... most thing that involve a license, require a class and a demonstration of skills to get the license. Think about your driver's license, or a medical license, or a pilot's license.

There is no class required or a skills test to own a machine gun, because a tax stamp is not a license. Dumbass. Its people like you that spread their ignorance that make other people stupid. Fuck.

Awesome, thank you. Maybe theking will go evaporate now. Although, sadly, its unlikely to happen.

Waddymelon 02-03-2010 02:23 PM

Very good. Now show us the definition of a fucking BATF Tax Stamp. Because thats what it takes to own a machine gun.

And then go argue with a stop sign, and maybe jump in a wood chipper just for giggles.

michael.kickass 02-03-2010 02:34 PM
