Business Epassporte chargs 9% comisn. on incoming transfers from personal epass acnt?

Business Epassporte charges 9% commision. on incoming transfers from personal epass accounts? ... and wait, there's more -- they hold incoming transfers for 14 days!???????

Is this for REAL?

JD 02-06-2010 01:43 AM

holy shit seriously?

The Usual Suspect 02-06-2010 02:13 AM

As I know you can't transfer from a regular account to a business account?
Only the other way around, and business to business.

bbobby86 02-06-2010 02:23 AM

i can not believe it...

Yes seriously... I am shocked!

Those of you who don't know -- only way to accept payments from personal epass to business epass is by using the EPPurchase service...

The service takes of 9% on incoming transfers, NINE percent!!!! In addition, they put a 14 day HOLD on the incoming payments!!?

EXPLAIN THAT!

gooddomains 02-06-2010 02:54 AM

this sounds unreal

Iron Fist 02-06-2010 04:50 AM

That could be a considerable chunk of change if you were doing a fairly large transfer. To think people were complaining about a $1 increase in ATM fees a month ago... LOL

Fat Panda 02-06-2010 05:17 AM

that is a large fee

lagcam 02-06-2010 07:18 AM

This again?

Why are you shocked? You already knew this.

Did you not read your OWN thread on this 3 days ago?

As I said then, receiving money IN is NOT the main reason why people have an epassporte business account.

Bottom line, is nobody forces you to use it to accept money. If you don't like the rates don't use it. Bleating on GFY isn't gonna make epassporte come in here and say "sorry, is 2% ok for you?

Many processors can process epassporte virtual visas. You don't need epass business to receive epass personal. You can even receive epass personal to an epass personal for FREE.

What a drama queen.

yup... what's $1 compared to 9% on every transaction...

fuzebox 02-06-2010 02:29 PM

The EPPurchase service was designed to process payments, not transfer money.

Just open a second personal account?

TidalWave 02-06-2010 02:41 PM

What about a business who accepts payments via ePass.
I guess they want you to just keep a personal account for that?

Seems ass-backward.

So a business account is ONLY for sending payments, otherwise if you want to accept ePass payments you get raped.

OK...

ContentPimp 02-07-2010 01:27 AM

^^ exactly!

Some people such as myself rarely if ever send payments to anyone in ePass - I only have an ePass account because a large chunk of adult webmasters use it and I sell domains to said webmasters. Don't make broad assumptions.

I agree this is a little too dramatic - I'll personally be fine with having people PayPal me instead and just not reference the adult terms in the domain in the payment.

It is not a broad assumption, it is a fact.

I do love people who can't read.

BUSINESS account, not personal account. Get that?

100% correct.

matuloo 02-08-2010 08:51 AM

I dont see a reason for the 9% fee too, especially with several EU countries being on the list.
