ranking in google for these keywords..

trying to build up something, im curious how difficult it is to rank for long tail local keywords.. example

say my domain is DentistsInTeaneck.com

How difficult would it be to rank for the search phrase, dentists in teaneck,

I am actually doing a similar project for some friends who just opened a local cupcake bakery.

The domain is setup as KeywordKeyword.com

In just 3 days I managed to get indexed a listing on the first page of the SERPS.

So based on that, I'd say it shouldn't be too difficult.

im clueless when it comes to seo.. i rather pay people to rank.. but i figured it wont be so difficult to rank for:

Moving companies in bumfuck ohio, if your domain is

MovingCompaniesinBUmFuckOhio.com

I'm not an SEO pro by any means, but this seems like a no-brainer to me.

So far at least...it seems to be so.

to get listed, now a problem at all just send a few inbound links with the anchor being Dentists In Teaneck

but the question is, where exactly he will be placed, look at what a user sees now when he searches those words, its loaded with paid ads and directory ads, and the first few are sites with mega inbound links, still I think with good inblund links + quality content setup, he can get to page 2 no problem

Its not hard to obtain #1 without any competition on random phrases :)

You people serious? "Uh how hard is it to rank for longtail serps with a matching domain?" Man... how can you not already know the answer to this... FAIL.

Raf1 02-08-2010 11:10 AM
