Must See Before You Die?
 

What would you say are must visit places before you die? I have some of my personal favorites many of which I have already visited, some are on my soon to visit list, but I'm sure there are countless "hidden gems" around the globe that may not be as well known, but are impressive never the less. Let us discover them. What do you think is a place one should see before they die?

those are some good ones. However my list would be too long to write down here. Maybe something like the one that dancing dude on youtube made happen.

That's a nice one. Never heard of. Places worth a visit must not necessarily be in exotic countries. There are amazing spots in our own backyards or neighboring countries.

I agree with you, Italy has the most natural beauty and great food, Japan will give you a bolt of cuture shock that will open your mind and the girls. :)

I would add Mexico also to the list since the beachs are just amazing. :thumbsup

Mexico is a war zone, though. I would not dare enter that murderous country where more people are killed by drug lords every day than in Iraq and Afghanistan combined. There are some attractive sights in Mexico, but dude - I'd rather live.

your thinking about the US boarders of Mexico...and this is because our nation has the largest market for drugs. We worry about terrorism in other countries...but too stupid to realize it is right in our own country. We live in a media society so everything is blown up now...but the problem in Mexico has been going on for over 20 years.

If your going to worry about crime you should just move to the mountains and live under a rock. All major cities that are worth visiting have a lot of crime and at any time you can become a victim of gun voilance. I live in NYC the capital of the world where you can do and eat anything you like at anytime...and you have to just be aware and street smart to avoid life threatening situations. It is a way of life...:pimp

Cancun is a beautiful place far from the so called drug wars.

Angel Falls in Venezuela is worthy of a visit if you love tall water falls.

If you like clam chowder go to the Fireside Inn in Cannon Beach. They have the best clam chowder I have ever had. I can't really recommend anything else on the menu, but the chowder is amazing. If you get bowl and a mini loaf of bread it is a full meal.

There are so many places that I want to visit that I don't think I have any shot of getting them all in in my lifetime.

This past summer we did a cruise through the fjords of Norway and I would highly recommend anybody to put that on their list.
