Lets see if they close down this poll or flip the numbers around.

Personally I think it's scary. I mean, they have some outrageous theories don't they? Don't mean to offend anybody supporting them here and since I'm from Belgium I may not be the best guy to comment about it. But it looks like it's growing at an extreme rate.

Disenfranchised Americans, Unemployed Americans, Pissed Off Americans etc. I can't really blame them. America is being ran into the ground.

When Tom Tancredo is one of your featured speakers, your movement is racist.

I guess FOX viewers are alot smarter than I give them credit for. Maybe Glenn Beck is as much a trainwreck to them as he is to the rest of us. :thumbsup

Thanks for posting this, it makes me feel better about our country's future. Seriously, these ignorant bastards they keep parading around and mainstream news picking it up like it's a legitimate movement has really been sickening me.

IllTestYourGirls 02-10-2010 11:13 AM

Yeah no ones running a bot on that poll lol.

Martin 02-10-2010 11:20 AM

The right wing has definitely hijacked that movement. The Tea Party Movement started off as a perfectly legit group of people concerned with the state of affairs going on inside the US.

The poll has been hit by Digg, reddit and 4chan so the results are skewed.

czarina 02-10-2010 11:23 AM

They usually make those polls disappear.

It originally started with Libertarian's such as Ron Paul and has now been co-opted by neo"cons" like Palin and Glenn Beck.

I heard their grassroots are going to create another (real grassroots) tea party convention.
