Thanks,
I woulda been more specific but couldn't figure out how to edit my post..

Basically I have like 15 free signups and 0 payments yet.. Just wondering what your normal ratio is..

Yes I 1:1 is great.

It depends on a 1000 variables.

Hope this was helpful.

I have open similar thead about it, but put ImlIve intead Cams as I promote both of them

so I have probably the same problem there with Cams : 150 free members - 0 sale

so - no hurry with 15: 0 from my point of view :-)

but I am not probably the right reference for you

It can take weeks, months or years before a surfer decides to buy credits, don't be in a such a hurry

does it means , if anybody form that 150 free members will do any sale in the next years , it will be still counted under my profile and the payouts will come to me? I was thinking, there is some timelimit in it ,like 2,3 month and if the sale is not done then I will not be payed anythink, maynly by per order ones .

I have like paypershare and payper order , half/half from my 150 free members.

If they register using your ref code, then yes you should get credited for the sale even years from now (assuming they don't register a new account under someone else years later).

When we first started to promote cams.com (whitelable), then the free joins to sale ratio was 1/20 - after a few months it was at 1/10 (returning sales piles up over time), and last month (after a couple of years) it was 1/4.

However ½ of the traffic coming to our whitelable is from countries which Streamray does not process or scrubs very hard, so our "real" free joins to sales ratio is probably twice as good as the overall number (ex. 1 out of 2 last month).

Remember to check where your free joins are coming from (can do this in the stats area), so you have an idea if your traffic has a healthy amount of "good" countries. It will probably take 500-1000 free joins before you can see a pattern, and some 6 months before you know how the free members plays out.

nice numbers there,

so you advice to switch completely under revshare option instead of perorder option ?

thanks for info Bossman

Bossman 02-12-2010 10:48 AM

Depends on what your plan is - a few quick extra bucks I would choose PPS, and Revshare if you plan to use them long term (whales might drop by from time to time) - however I have been told by many that they have a hard time converting Streamray, so it could just be that we have very target traffic, which would convert even better at other cam networks (our traffic have mainly been from passive typins on category killer domains).

Best advice is to look at what you make per unique, and go by that :)
