Fuck Big Oil

Someone care to offer up an explanation of how the FUCK gas here in Ohio went from $2.32 to $2.78 in a matter of 2 days?

God damn! There's no news about it, oil prices only went up 4 cents a barrel on stocks today.

I do not know the answer but I do know that "big oil" reports around 8% profit on their investment...which really is not a large percent...but does represent a hugh sum of money because of gross sales.

Big Oil companies heard your area was trying to be more environmentally conscious, so they gave you the 'F You' tax.

still 2.35 here in cleveland (strongsville)
not defending them, but if you're in central ohio, maybe with the nasty weather slowed the tanker trucks a day or so, that's when they up it that much at individual stations if their storage tanks are low.

I live in Toronto and the gas price was like $0.38 in 1997 and now it's like $1.01.

they needed extra gold to cover their cars

romeo22 02-16-2010 08:59 AM

Thats the magic!Gas and oil companies can make you extra profit? They keep going up coz all we pay for them.

the price of a gallon of fuel has no direct correlation to the price of a barrel of oil, other than in extreme situations.
