Webair hosting listed as a dagerious site...

Tried to call them to tell Tech support about this issue but since the more than 10 accounts I control are all virtual they won't pick up the phone and they no longer support live chat.

http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/web...1.3.0&pip=true

It's a bitch to be on this list and I hope this won't start my sites and my clients sites getting blocked...

They listed a few of mine red without even providing any reason why or any links to show why once you clicked the red. I emailed them and said if you're gonna make it red provide a reason. I also said I would not renew my mcafee total protection and would go with kaspersky and they all changed back to green. I can see making them red if you provide reasoning but to just make them red with zero explanation is bullshit.

I am a long time satisfied customer with Webair but I would like to hear some response form them on this.

David! 02-21-2010 09:54 AM

The site advisor crap is a joke, for a while they even listed Walmart as a dangerous site!
It gives too much power to their end users because of their need to be a true 2.0 site and when you try to remove a site from their "dangerous list" it is usually a real pain in the butt.

How about fixing this Webair or at least a response?

Sent in a service ticket for a clients site that is down 40 minutes ago. No response still down...

WebairGerard 03-01-2010 03:18 PM

Please note there is no issue with Webair.com

The problem stems from a client site that was suspended. Once suspended it redirects to a suspend page. The client site itself was the actual issue. We have already put in a request for mcaffee to remove the listing. It will not affect any services.

How do I get a site unlisted from that thing i.e. like http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/spookycash.com WTF?

I don't get all those laughing trolls and fake nicks. Is it your job to troll this company? Webair is an excellent hosting provider imho and I have been hosting with several hosts so far so I may do some honest judgment. Just remember ...karma works.

I think all the ones laughing in this thread are laughing because it's outrageous to think Webair is unsafe site... :upsidedow
