That ranks right up there among the best single periods of hockey I've ever seen, and I've seen some doozies.

Canada must keep up the pressure right to the end though because the Russians won't let up for a second and will capitalize on any bad mistakes they're given.

I'm a Canadian citizen. I was a Russian citizen in the past (maybe I still am a Russian citizen - not sure). Double citizenship - is it allowed? I have to look it up.

If Russia was winning, it would be nice, too.

Canada's talent finally shows itself. It was hard watching all that talent, they were playing fairly hard and it just wasn't meshing. Looks like it's a motivation thing, Russia is the only country that really matters to Canadian hockey players - it's growing with the US but still the only country that stirs them up is Russia.
