I've owned 2 H1's. Incredible in many respects.

They're not supposed to look good or get good gas mileage. They're supposed to have a ton of armor and a 50 cal on it and be functional.

They were just "citizenized" because people wanted to buy them at the time. Now people aren't willing to spend 100k on a 4 passenger truck that gets 3 mpg and is too wide to get on most offroad trails.

Pretty cool that you can drive up near vertical walls though.

H1 or nothing!! The OG H1 is night and day different than the H2.

As far as I know, they have no intention of killing off Opel now. If I'm not mistaken, they will actually play a larger role for GM globally. Like branding Opel cars in the US as Saturns like they were doing.

The Opel vehicles are some of the best cars the GM brand makes.
