I don't think it's a matter of "Laughing" at this guy or not. The fact of the matter is he is and always was bad for the industry as a whole. Pushing the boundaries to the limit
and now possibly using an underage model is all the adult industry needs.

Pushing the boundaries is how we got where we are today. Thank the Mitchell Brothers, Larry Flynt and many others for pushing the boundaries of their time and advancing the industry.

I know nothing of the Dirty D case except what I've read, one side of the story, the accusations against him.

I've got to throw in here that in the story the cops said that the guy (and I guess it was an employee as well) knew the girl was under age and that she had a fake ID that he knew about. He supposedly asked her "Do you have your fake ID?" I don't know who this guy is and I don't care, but there are too many girls who've had their 18th birthday around to do this sort of thing and anyone in the biz for any legth of time would just find one of those, because this will always come back and bite you on the ass as soon as the video gets published and her mommy sees it. (AND EVERYONE KNOWS THIS BY NOW!!!)

No, there is definitely some laughing going on. And, I think that the OP's point is that maybe it's a bit early to jump in and join the chorus (though maybe he could have said it a bit better). Let the investigation take its course, see what they find. You never know --- the female involved might be broke, or maybe she's on drugs, and looking for enough money to 'hit a fix' or 'live easy' for the next year (or 2, or 5). She might have lied through her teeth to get on that shoot for $500 --- which, when I was 17, was a lot of money. I'm not advocating anyone's cause here --- I'm merely saying that law enforcement and DoJ has a lot of work to do yet and they are VERY capable (do not EVER doubt this). And, anyone with a bit of maturity and a small amount of common sense will keep their 'yaps' shut until we hit insurmountable evidence against 'Dirty D,' the trial finishes up, and people are behind bars, serving their sentences. At that point, cue laughter, throw vegetables, call 'Tyrone,' whatever...

That said, if he knew --- I hope that he burns in hell, since I hate 'these people.' On the other hand, if this is an attempt to 'get paid,' well, it is nothing short of 'abuse of the system' and the female in question will likely face perjury charges. My biggest question about all of this is this (and, fuck, I'll say it): If she was 'forced back into the booth' to perform, then there is (obviously) a forcible confinement / kidnapping charge on the way. If that was the case, and she 'escaped,' why did it take so long to report this to the appropriate authorities?

By experience, life is short and there is no shortage of 'questionable personalities' on this planet. And, the motive in many instances, such as this, is usually money. No matter which way you look at it, HIGR is finished, as is 'Dirty D' (which a lot of people are cheering as they read this). But, the law is the law for a reason; let them do their jobs and then we'll judge.
