do an in-depth on the rapidshare, hotfile, free porn boards. the amount they are hurting sales is astronomical compared to tubes.

We're just reporting on the USA TODAY article - apparently Tubes are still news to mainstream media.

DaddyHalbucks 03-02-2010 01:01 PM

How many lawsuits have been filed against the tubes?

gay content owners have been very successful getting tubes shut down. dunno why straight producers are all about fail in that respect.

The real news would be how tube sites became the springboard for crowdsourced highly personalized microniche content that generates more money than prior iterations of the adult content publishing model.

Generates more money for an extreme few, while sapping a shitload of money from the rest of the industry. Therein lies the problem.

dumb argument. the tubes are among the biggest sites on the web - almost myspace and yahoo level.

everyone knows about them. they don't need usa today to tell them they exist.

dunno why people keep saying this. like a thread on gfy or some news story is going to tip someone off to free porn.
