Look at the number of people who win the lottery then 7 years later file for bankruptcy. It's not only about how much you earn, how much you spend comes into it as well.

It baffles me that they don't put a few mill of that 7-10 million away in low-risk long term investments, which would ensure they are never completely broke. Maybe start a new line of slutty "Li-Lo" clothes? Designer Lindsay Lohan barf bags? Something.
