Where's the recycle bin in Windows 7?

I give up, I've been looking for the last 10 minutes. Can anybody tell me where to find the wretched thing?
thanks!

right mouse click on empty area on your desktop, select personalize, from there in the left column window you can get to change your desktop icons

nope, that didn't do it :(... I have windows 7 Starter edition in my new Dell mini, and those options are not available.

only Windows 7 Ultimate has a Recycle Bin

Just effing delete it with DELETE button.

found it!
for other natural blondes like me, here it is:

Click the Start button , type desktop icons into the search box, and then click Show or hide common icons on the desktop.

In the Desktop Icon Settings dialog box, do one of the following:

To hide the Recycle Bin, clear the Recycle Bin check box.

To show the Recycle Bin, select the Recycle Bin check box.
