What's the longest you have ever gone without taking a shower?
 

I was watching a show last night which make me wonder this.

For me I think it was around 12-14 days. I was doing cold weather combat training in New Brunswick during my military days. Minus 40C in the training area most of the time.

A week maybe.

Couple of days at the most on camping or fishing trips

2+ weeks, when I had some birthmarks removed. It was a nightmare.

Four weeks in the field... I was in Australia and missed my one chance to get a shower on week two... baby wipes are your friend when you deploy to the middle of nowhere in a foreign country :P

I haven't gone longer than 40 hours, if that! Friday night shower, hangover all day Saturday, shower Sunday morning...

even on my military course i had a bucket of water over myself every 2 hours. Yeah it was hot under the burning sun.

yeah, two weeks would be the longest for me. It actually felt kind of good...in a weird way.

I don't think I've ever gone more than a week, tops, even as a dirty little punk rock kid.

I need to shower daily, do not feel right if i dont. Dont ever remember not showering at least once a day

2 years ago in Cambodia, remote jungles, no way to shower... around 3 weeks. But we did work out way out to the ocean every day.

I've taken 3 weeks or so without a shower before, just couldnt be bothered, was during summer when I was out swimming, having water fights just pissing about in water anyways so guess that was basically the showering that was needed.

2 days and that only happened when I was busy working a couple times or hungover after a weekend night and didn't leave, I wont leave without a shower.

Now I'm taking a shower several times a day.

6 months while at war. (although I did take whore baths out of a bucket.)

I think one month. When I had my back surgery.

I was expecting more replies like Amp's. I would assume anybody in the middle of active combat took some pretty long stretches.

2-3 weeks going across russia + mongolia.
Not really so bad when there's no humidity

About 18 days sailing across the Pacific. I did use baby wipes and a sponge and salt water though.

I take a shower every 3rd saturday even if I dont need it.

I know some very successful guys with ladies swore not to shower before they went out they claimed it worked. I don't believe it

Ok, lets say I took a shower this last Saturday. Actually I did because it was time to.

This Saturday, I wont. Or next Saturday. But the Saturday after that will be the third Saturday and even though I probably still wont need a shower by then, I'll take one anyway.

Yes I know, its kind of being wasteful with the water.

My shower was busted and blowing water back down the wall, so I took baths until I decided it was time to tear into the wall and fix it.

Probably somewhere around 7-10 days while out camping.

I don't remember how long it was, but in the prison camp there where no water or electricity for several days, maybe iover a week.

WTF, here in the UK we take baths most of the time, squalor in our shit & then maybe rinse it off with the hand shower if we feel worthy hehe!

13 days sailing across the Atlantic - we did jump in the ocean about half way across though... That was kind of weird considering it was thousands of feet straight down.

Back in my bush days as a wild mushroom picker i went over 2 months. But to be fair I jumped in the river every day, and soaped down ever other couple days. When you're stomping around out in the bush all day everyday around old forest fire beds, sweaty and covered in ash and dirt, you never really get clean that way though. You forget about it after a while. :1orglaugh

a week when i was confine on hospital. but they do a regular sponge bath on me.

I think a few days while out in the bush over in SA Now I have to shower every day I hate the smell of cock cheese..

5 days while in the hospital after surgery.

Probably around 2 weeks when I was very sick with the flu as a kid.

Probably 1 week without having a good reason. I normally take a shower every 1 to 3 days otherwise. Some days when you sit at the pc and never go outside there isnt much reason to take a shower. Though sometimes I take showers just to relax and catch my thoughts.

Um yeah when you shower before you go out and shave or at least trim it you get way more head on your dates FYI... :winkwink:
