Praise for a Top Notch Hosting Company
 

Everyone seems to love to hate lately so I thought I'd post something positive.

I recently moved my hosting to Dedico and I must say, out of the 8 different hosting companies I've worked with in the past 11 years Dedico has had the most knowledgeable and experienced staff.

Cyandin had me setup in less than 6 hours and this is the FIRST HOSTING COMPANY IN 11 YEARS who has understood what a MINIMAL installation is. I can not express to you how frustrating it is (or maybe you already know) when a hosting company doesn't setup your box(es) correctly.

I'm a Linux guy myself so I go with unmanaged boxes. Usually when you ask for this hosting companies use the "fire and forget" method where they drop whatever their "default" installation is on the box and hand it over. It's almost always incorrect when you ask for specific things.

Anyway, I won't bore you with any more details but know this thread was unprompted from Dedico. I just thought I'd share an actual positive experience with everyone :upsidedow
