Yeh, I disagree. They feed off of each other. Plenty of business to be found. People surf because of entertainment, they pick up business along the way. People look for business, they get entertained along the way.

It's a balancing act. Sometimes the act will tip more towards entertainment, other times it will tip more towards business. It works out.

If one feels that there isn't enough business to be found and the entertainment isn't worth them surfing/posting, they can simply stop surfing/posting. I find new deals/opportunities/people on GFY non-stop.

Well we know that... I dont think theres anyone within shouting distance that dosnt know youre not simply booming with new clients and revenues day in and day out...

Some of us still do business here. There is a lot of business left to be done in this industry whether B2B or using more traditional business models. You have to adapt to the delivery systems, and find new opportunities.

Some people are doing that. Which was the point.

Just had a thought based on a post someone made and it spawned my impulse to make this thread to get thoughts from others pertaining to the subject stated...

Im not saying GFY is dead... fuck no, far from it... I just think that some depreciation has gone on. Not from the late rule changes n shit or anyone within that fiasco. But the comment that people as a majority dont come here for business... that most here would rather fight for stupidity rather than what matters. Where issues within our industry that are harming it arent spoken of with passion, but rather, some irrelevant bullshit about john boys anal gonorrhea...
