Sorry man, we had to by-pass a lot of people. We just got home 90 minutes ago and she has a flight at 5 tomorrow. Time became an issue. We averaged 35 MPH today with all the stops. A typical day. We woke up 6 hours from home and it took 11.

I just love your photos. I do one road trip in US per year (I'm from EU). This year we'll be starting in Las Vegas, going up to Death Valley, Lake Tahoe and than into northern CA. I'm not sure yet where to go from there.

This trip is over. Got to stay home for a few weeks.

Ahhh LAKE TAHOE! I remember going for a quick swim in those nice waters and as a result my balls disappeared for about an hour... scary shit....lol

That's one big honking cross.

It is said to be the tallest in the western hemisphere. I saw it one night back in 2006, and I remember stopping to try and shoot it with my P&S. Pretty impressive in the daylight.

I have been roadtripping through a nice bunch of states the last 2 years. Coming from the Netherlands, the things you see are.. well.. amazing. Everything is grand. I loved it.

We are not going to the usa this year, we will be doing a 2 week trip to Curacao.

First year we roadtripped the usa (2 years ago): New York, Florida (miami, key west, orlando, naples etcetc).

Last year: Chicago (my least favorite, didnt like it at all), San Franc, Yosemite, Death Valley, Vegas, Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, that other canyon near that, Sequoia NP, Monument Valley, LA etc etc.

If it was me deciding, i would take my girlfriend for a 4 week trip to the states every fucking year. I love it there.

If you want i can show some pics we made too, dont think they are as nice as yours but still worth it haha. Im currently trying to edit/convert all my HD sony clips into one big holiday movie. But its a hell of a job to do. I have some on youtube.

Towards the end we were running out of time, and I wanted to take goodgirl to Tahoe, then Yosemite. When we got out of Tahoe we discovered that the entrance we were going to use to Yosemite was closed. We literally drove up and down US 395 changing our minds on which way to go at that point.

Eventually, we decided to take 395 all the way as I had not done much of it myself. Was a great decision.

Was the other canyon, Canyonlands?

He was probably in Zion. Bryce canyon is just awesome.

I love your pics, I will do Lake Tahoe and 395 this summer. I've already been to Yosemite, so I'll skip that.
