Whats the MOST EXPENSIVE BOTTLED WATER you have ever drunk?

I remember a few years ago, I was with some friends at one of the Indian Casinos outside of San Diego...

He had a very large win, and for some reason, ordered a bottle of $100 water. I think it actually had flakes of gold leaf in it!

Anyway, it didnt taste any different to any other water (No surprise there) but the fact was, that it DID cost a hundred dollars...

So, I did drink $100 dollar glass of water ! Can you beat that waste of money? LOL

Yngwie 05-11-2010 01:24 PM

I don't care how much $ I have. I sure as fuck would never pay $100 for a bottle of water. lol

I don't buy bottled water so I can't really compete here. haha

BestXXXPorn 05-11-2010 01:26 PM

Most expensive bottle of water I've seen was in the USMC... During a training exercise in the middle of nowhere we ran out of water... 5 hours later we still didn't have water and people were FIRST'EH!!

Someone found a bottle of water in the bottom of their pack and auctioned it off... went for $80! Just plain water... the squad leader that paid the cash shared it with the rest of his squad and they split the cost.

I've seen a pack of cigarettes when everyone was out (under similar circumstances) go for $200 though, hahhaha. I used to pack 2 cartons in my pack as the going rate for a pack of smokes in the middle of nowhere is about $15 - $20...

Yeah, I agree. I thought it was fucking stupid to waste that much on a bottle of water... But it wasn't my money, the guy had won big... And I suppose he was just showing off!

I buy evian everyday as few years ago I read some artical saying its good for skin - its the most expensive watter sold in ussual stores here
1 bottle is 2.5 USD
so its 365 x 2.5 x at least 8 - so 7300 USD for drinking in the office everyday for last 8 years - guess I could buy some used car if I stick with ussual cheap shit from waterpipe

CurrentlySober 05-11-2010 01:52 PM

Evian backwards reads 'Naive'...

fatfoo 05-11-2010 01:54 PM

$100 bottle of water - yeah, that is expensive. Of course, there are even bigger wastes of money that exist out there.

Speaking of health, water is actually good for your health - not so bad. Some products out there are actually bad for health, be careful. This is bad for your health:

Isn't Fiji at the Westin Diplomat like $8-10? I know I've spent $10 on a Fiji in a hotel room when I was hung over.

I sometimes buy Voss at stores or order it in restaurants, no plastic flavor or something.

Konkan 05-11-2010 02:37 PM

In Italy 5 years ago on a bay a bottle of local mineral watter cost me 10euros. Holly shit!

GrouchyAdmin 05-11-2010 03:24 PM

Airport. $4.50.

OTerror 05-11-2010 05:03 PM

Water is free.

cant believe people are brainwashed by this new FIJI miracle celebrity water fashion mode... Water is water.. there is no secret... As long as it's Potable, you are fine.. No need to waste a fortune in a "miracle" snake oil that supposedly "prevent" deseases.. Not true..... You can do other things like going Run, Gym, or eat healthy...

Even if I was a multi millionaire I wouldn't buy $100 bottled water

NetHorse 05-11-2010 07:31 PM

I paid close to $5 once in Cali from one of those beverage carts on a golf course.

Plain old water period is good for your skin. It's what keeps it moisturized... no need to spend the extra couple of bucks :winkwink:

What were they serving at the Banana Bar. ;)

Sly 05-11-2010 08:50 PM

I think around eight dollars at some club in Vegas. It's probably more now.

nakeddutch 05-11-2010 08:58 PM

Price: $1,000

What: Golden Opulence Sundae

Where: Serendipity 3; New York City

This dessert is the holder of the Guinness World Record for the most expensive sundae. Scoops of Tahitian vanilla bean ice cream infused with smoky Madagascar vanilla are coated in 23-carat edible gold leaf, which "leaves a ring of gold dust around people's mouths,"

:pimp

Your realize idiot that Fiji tastes A LOT better then regular water.

Sex with a fat girl and small tits is still sex, i'd rather have it with a hot skinny blonde with big tits.

The most expensive, and best tasting water I ever drank was back in the 80s when I attended a dinner at the Explorers' Club in New York. The dinner featured exotic foods from all over the world (think Fear Factor) and the water was from prehistoric polar ice that was transported in its frozen state and only allowed to melt right before you drank it. I'm not sure what it must have cost per glass, but I'm guessing it cost a lot more than anything I've ever paid to drink, before or since.

Taste was amazing. I don't know how to describe it except to say it actually tasted like it was "good for you" and it was as if my body recognized it somehow and was happy about drinking it. It had the same effect on others I was with that night. It kind of made us sad that this was what water used to taste like.

No it doesn't.

Watch the Penn and Teller Bullshit! where they expose the lies behind bottled water. It is a great one.

That place is such a rip off. I'm surprised they done don't charge 15 bucks to flush the toilet. I pack all my own stuff in every year I go. Bring my own booze, water, pop, chips you name it. I have a regular mini store in my room!. And I NEVER eat there. the cheap pizza place down the road is fine...

10 bucks for water... LOL!

Put the water back down, turn and see that thing in the bathroom called the faucet? Use it.

Candybear 05-12-2010 06:40 AM

A few years ago I went to Dubai and stayed at Burj Al Arab and I think water was like $20 a bottle or something, but sure didn't want to drink from the tap in the middle east!

cwd 05-12-2010 06:42 AM

bottled water....

In 2007, Fijian Water ran a campaign saying that their water is better because it was not bottled in Cleveland, Ohio. The City of Cleveland Water Department took on Fijian Water. The Cleveland Water Department took a sample Cleveland's Tap Water and a sample of the Fijian Water and found out that the Fijian Water had 6.0ppm of Arscenic and the average Cleveland Tap had none. Cleveland Water is tested daily for quality and health concerns.

cwd 05-12-2010 06:47 AM

1.5 million barrels of oil in the US alone are used to make water bottles from polyethylene terephthalate, 86% of which are landfilled or incinerated. Often it is shipped long distances, like the 1.4 million bottles of Finnish tap water sent 4,300 kilometers (2,700 miles) to Saudi Arabia, or the popular Fiji water found in the US and Canada. ''Even in areas where tap water is safe to drink, demand for bottled water is increasing--producing unnecessary garbage and consuming vast quantities of energy,'' said researcher Emily Arnold. ''Although in the industrial world bottled water is often no healthier than tap water, it can cost up to 10,000 times more.''

rowan 05-12-2010 06:52 AM

tap water + filter jug + (reusable) drink bottle = win

Serial Pervert 05-12-2010 06:54 AM

i have no idea!

BaldBastard 05-12-2010 07:07 AM

I paid $6 for a bottle of water in my hotel lobby when I first came to Cancun on vacation about 3 years ago. I know it's nothing compared to $80 or $100, but it pissed me off to pay that when the same bottle in town would've cost me 50 cents.

Thats not dissimilar from the bottle I had, (Shape Wise)

The main difference was the top. You have fancy crowns. Mine had a small cork.

Ditto on both. =)

Sosa 05-12-2010 11:41 AM

Eh, didn't drink it but had some $40-$50 per bottle stuff in the room at the Trump Chicago. They sit it there all nice on a stand hoping you crack it open without looking at the prices.
