Why are my download links saving as htm files
Hey guys, weve just had some programmers redo our website and seem to be having some problems with the dowload links which are saving as htm files for some users. They cant seem to firgure out why, so im doing my own research.
Does anyone have any clue why this would be happening? Its only certain users, but quite a lot of them and its across all browsers. An example download url is /downloader/51386/1 (im not allowed to post a full url here but jsut add menatplay.com to the beginning) Please help Thanks, Adrian |

i always make sure the mime type is set correctly and also make sure the url ends with a filename with the correct extension (realor virtual). seems to cover all bases that way.

htm is not too bad. I guess you want them saved in a different format.

your temp folder could be too full
if it's a windows do this Windows key + R (Run) Type: %temp% CTRL+A Hold in Shift key and hit Delete (Removes the whole shabang without it first going to recycle bin) Good luck |
