I know a guy got busted with a joint on Mardi Gras day and had to abstain from alcohol for 2 years while on probation and had to take that pill that makes you sick if you drink alcohol. So its crazy to see someone like this ignore court ordered classes etc... normal citizens would be arrested.

I laugh when I see a celeb finally get the same treatment, actually nowhere near the same treatment you or I would get if we ran someone of the road, had cocaine on us and were drunk LOL but its funny nonetheless.

for the record, I like Lindsay, im one of the guy who still think she is cute!

However, as someone who has seen friends lives wrecked from DUIs and mandatory sentencing for the same crimes she has committed, it definitely draws a lione in the sand when it comes to how you and I are treated versus the famous.

Get caught with cocaine while running someone off the road while drunk down here and see what happens,... you definitely wont be partying in Canes and flipping the bird to the court mandated alcohol classes thats for sure.

Lindsay is hot. But here you get 5 years with/without hard labor for cocaine (under 28g) alone, not to mention wreckless driving, DUI etc...

I agree celebs shouldn't get "better" treatment. But the reality is WE shouldn't let our govt. take control of any citizen's life. The govt. has become FAR overreaching in it's bullshit. I don't think our country's founders ever envisioned this kind of thing.

The govt. is now big brother, nanny state, and fun police all rolled into one. So much for the govt. working FOR the people. :(
