Anybody Use A TrackBall?

Any of you folks use a trackball instead of a mouse? If so, what model?

Thinkin' about getting one......

Used to have one, but never got to liking it. I know a few people who swear by them.

My trusty Logitech G7s still do the job for me.

I use a Kensington trackball for my win7 install (on an iMac). I could take it or leave it. :2 cents:

Logitech Trackman for many years. I love it.

I bought one... within 10 minutes of hating it I gave it to the GF. She uses it every day...

This is what I rock. I bought it because I felt onset of some hand issues a couple years ago. It is shaped to help eliminate that issue. Havent felt it since.

I don't know what RF stands for. Real fiction? Rap Fans?

I still don't believe any of it.

Do I have to say it?

I literally bought one 2 days ago, and returned it this morning. Got used to it but didn't like not being 100% precise.

Never used a trackball.

The best mouse bar none is the Logitech MX Revolution.

Gerco 05-27-2010 08:44 PM

All I have used for over 10 years. Like anything from Kensinton, and currently use a logitec model because it can be used right or left handed.

VHNet 05-27-2010 08:47 PM

Kensington trackball

Hentaikid 05-28-2010 05:32 AM

Logitech marble... I like it because it's symmetric so I can use it with either hand (Mostly use the right though)

Great for my RSI

scarlettcontent 05-28-2010 05:48 AM

used to have one but did my wrist damage so went back to the old mouse

I use the Logitech Trackman

Best thing about it is the ergonomics, your wrist doesn't sit low with the ball above as with most trackballs.

All trackballs do slow you down a bit though, good for browsing not precision work.
