im buying a new BBQ, so excited, its the first one ive ever bought

Before my roomate had a bbq...so i didnt need one.

then i moved into my own apartment and couldnt have one.

then i got married and moved into a house and the previous owner left me a bbq

now ive thrown that out and im goign bbq shopping

Weber seems to win hands down for quality

im thinking one with the rotisserie and a nice flat surface

anyone have a favourite?

Great choice of grill... When it comes to a BBQ you can't cheap out.

I have a small place but I got this badboy and does the work for a bachelor like me.

No Gaz, just wood burning BBQ. But that would look weird on the Gigantic deck you guys built at your place ;-)

probably is:thumbsup

Before you go spending money on a Weber do look at a number of alternatives. They manufacture under a few different brands, that have the same features , like side cooker, cast iron grills, a grill plate etc for a lot less money.

I bbq year around never thought to spend the money on a name brand just because of the name:2 cents:

I used to say that for years, then got tired of all the prep work, getting the charcoal going:2 cents:

Weber FTW. I have a Weber and absolutely love it. The controls are nice and accurate for temperature and the 3 burners helps for controlling the heat zones too.

baddog 06-01-2010 02:07 AM

I only use gas in the kitchen.

SBJ 06-01-2010 02:20 AM

If I was going to spend a grand on a gas grill it would be for this PHX Suns one

http://www.teamgrill.com/0_images/te...HO_ALL_c_f.jpg
from Team grill

but till then I'll stick to my stainless steel 4 burner with side warmer $200 one from wal mart that does just as good on my t-bones as this one for a grand

Yea, thats the way to go :thumbsup

I never have used my rotisserie though...

be careful with your grills if you get the ceramic like coated ones. They are great for grilling, you just cant drop them or be rough with them.

Exoclick 06-01-2010 04:00 AM

There is nothing like a real wood BBQ ! Gas is cheating :p

BlackCrayon 06-01-2010 05:02 AM

nice bbq but sears always seems like a huge rip off places only old people shop at.
