Cheapest Place In The World To Puchase The iPad !!
 

I was just reading a survey on the different prices charged in different countries to purchase the iPad......thought it may interest a few here.

(Reuters) - Britain and Europe are the world's costliest places to buy Apple Inc's new iPad computer, with prices around a quarter higher than in the United States, a new study has found.

Seems Europe is getting ripped off !

VAT and bullshit market pricing due to "currency fluctations" make this true for pretty much any consumer good over the pond.

You can't use the warranty unless it is in that zone where you bought it from.

Yes thats true...... although its more expensive, your salaries are higher so maybe it actually feels like a cheaper product purchase to you compared to americans/canadians ?.

I know when we sold dvds online we charged $29.99 for USA/Canadian customers and 29.99 UK pounds for UK customers and they seemed ok with it ...never one complaint.

I don't need iPad so generally I don't care...

For the price of an iPad here, i could buy a pretty damn good laptop for the same money...
