I thought that SWAT team was at that house to get a man wanted for killing a 17 year old kid? I feel bad for the little girl, but her family should not have been hiding a wanted criminal. What about the poor 17 year old that was murdered? :2 cents:

Police were executing a search warrant in the search for the suspect in a shooting Friday that killed a high school student.

Godbee said the 34-year-old suspect was found and arrested at the home where the girl was shot. In addition, a vehicle and a moped matching the descriptions of those involved in the shooting of 17-year-old Jarean Blake were also found, he said.

It was the wrong house.

It was a duplex and they had a warrant for both houses. Also the fugitive was that little girl's aunt's fiancee. I feel terrible that she was killed, but her family members lived in both of those duplex's. What about the 17 year old that was murdered for no reason?



Police have said the target of the raid, a 34-year-old man, was arrested in the upstairs unit of the duplex. Police had warrants to search both units, and family members of the slain girl were seen going in and out of both on Monday.


Now, investigators are learning more details into the events that led up to that shooting.

Local 4 has learned the child's father, Charles Jones, was seen at the liquor store Friday where 17-year-old Jerean Blake was gunned down.

A 34-year-old man, identified as the child's aunt's fiance, is in police custody in connection with that shooting.

Police said he shot Blake, a student at Detroit's Southeastern High School, outside Motor City Marketplace on Mack Avenue because he "Didn't like the way he looked at him," police said.

The only spying that a 7 year old is capable of is knowing the show schedules at Nickelodeon and the Cartoon Channel.

What does that have to do with killing that girl? They shot her through the window while she was sleeping on the sofa, tried to cover it up, and are about to be prosecuted by an attorney that knows it. That's yesterday's news. If they had a clear enough shot to hit her, they knew it was a little girl. The medical examiner said she was shot in the head, not the neck. And since when do search warrants begin by shooting?

The point is if her family was not hiding a criminal, SWAT would not have been at either of those houses. They went there looking for the killer of a 17 year old boy. They didn't just randomly pick those duplex's. I don't believe for a second that that man aimed at a little girl and shot her on purpose. You seem to have a lot of hate for the police and the border patrol. :2 cents:

Christians have burned a lot of young women at the stake for being witches. While some of them may not have been as young as 7, is it less of a crime against humanity of she is 10 or 12? I'm pretty sure there were some very young people killed during the crusades as well. Sure, this stuff isn't happening today, but the reality is that the Christian religion has a lot of blood on its hands.

I'm guessing that the police didn't kill that girl on purpose. It was an accident. A terrible accident, but I really doubt that a cop saw a little girl sleeping and decided to just execute her. Mistakes were made and people should have to answer for them, but that doesn't mean this cop killed a kid on purpose.

A friend of my family has served in Iraq and Afghanistan and will be going back soon. He says the Taliban use children to warn them of when the army is coming and on their whereabouts when they are patrolling. A child with a phone is something the forces are very wary of.

So if the Taliban do it, who is to say the troops don't do the same?

The Taliban use fear as a weapon to get the local people to support them. This is another way of doing that.

There are also atrocities committed in the name of capitalism, democracy and modern science, it's just our human nature.
