The way they are playing at the moment, if England do face Argentina, I can see it being a trouncing, England losing maybe 4-0.

They haven't hit the ground running at all, abysmal.

they created a lot of chances against slovenia, ok its only slovenia, but it was a big improvement to the algeria match. if they can step up another gear and IF rooney can score he may go on a bit of a run, then they should give any team a decent match.

at least england haven't peaked too early in the tournament, and are moving in the right direction.

I believe England will beat arch nemesis Germany, and then amazingly against the odds defeat almost as equally arch nemesis Argentina......and then lose in the semi final against an unfancied team.

England look totally worn out after a long season. The germans have a 1 month rest at the start of the year, which is one of the reasons why their teams always do well, they have played less games, and more rested. I still see England with a very good chance of beating the Germans all the same.
