Does anyone ever go for lifetime memberships?
 

Noticed both nubiles.net and met-art have a $799 lifetime membership option. I'm sure other sites have it too.

Considering that this could be worth years of normal memberships (possibly longer than a site has been operating to this point), does anyone ever sign up for this?

I've got a few memberships that are lifetime. None to those sites though.

When magazines were the main thing I did, we always knew that any magazine which started offering lifetime memberships would be out of business in less than a year.

Be nice if it actually turns out to be a viable option online though.
