Charlie Brown Was An Eternal Optimist...

Linus: I guess it's wrong always to be worrying about tomorrow. Maybe we should think
only about today.

Charlie Brown: No, that's giving up. I'm still hoping that yesterday will get better.

You can make plans based on 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month, whatever time frame you want. A futurist is what business needs. Have you ever gone to an art gallery and you find all the paintings are about the past? Someone needs to paint a really nice painting of the future.

Hey FatFoo, have you ever realized that there are no paintings of technology?

There's a grain of truth to that though... Those who control the present, control the past. The past is rewritten to influence the future and consolidate position in the present.

Although I was a history graduate, "objectivity" in history is often a myth. Who does the looking and WHY are often more important than WHAT is being looked at. This applies to most other social sciences and, interesting enoughy, many hard sciences as well (See the Heisenberg principle)

There you go again... dragging the Heisenberg principle into everything!

How many times do we have to go over this?
