Connecting a Mac to a Win 7 network

I've seen a few links on the web, but nothing that definitively describes howto do it without confusing me to death.

I have a houseguest staying for a few weeks who will be using a new Macbook pro to access my wireless Window7 network(for the internet and maybe some printing). My thing is, while I trust her, I don't want her poking around in my Jobs and business folders. How can I get her access to the internet, while denying her access to my network drives?

Wow. I can't imagine trusting someone in my house that I don't trust not to try to ha><><0r my boxen.

AFAIK, one has to explicitly set permissions to access network drives. So, just don't give her permission and you will have no issue.

You never know what women are capable of. She might be printing something and accidentally delete an important job, or something -- or the hell knows. Just want to cover my ass.

So once I log her into my router, she'll show up as a user? Then I imagine I'll just go into my permissions and turn off access to specific drives under her user name? Sorry to be retarded, but I have no idea how Macs and PCs work together.
