Best Pocket Digital for Under $300
 

A friend asked me to research the best pocket digital for under $300.

I'm about to recommend this Canon, which is actually UNDER $250 via Amazon...

I'm going by online reviews. The guy is looking for a camera for under $300... what kind of an effort do you think is required?

Should I buy 10 different cameras, try them all out personally, make an analysis, return them all, and then give the guy my opinion?

The guy just asked me for a quick favor. He didn't ask me to set up a consumer testing lab!

Geez, the guy asked you a simple favour. The least you could do, would be to buy them, try them, and then give a considered opinion, but NO... You choose the views of a board called 'Go Fuck Yourself' just to save some effort...
