FFN did make an offer today from what i heard in breaking news on CNBC that was 13% higher than Hef's orig offer of 187M

I missed the segment where CNBC had the CEO of FFN on to discuss the offer but according to CNBC there is a higher offer on the table

its not pr. i think one of 2 things

either Hef is looking to drive the price up for his shares to get out of the stock

or some private equity firm really thinks they can take it private for cheap and make money over the long term on the brand
