Ehm... what happened to private enterprise? Talk about a bad idea

Agent 488 07-27-2010 07:46 PM

google is happily giving up info and working with the gov already, they would probably volunteer it.

Just what we need. The US Government taking over the Search Engines. They need to butt their asses out of more shit, not continue to try to take over or regulate any more private business. Fuck Em :(

more control... times are rough

Paul Markham 07-28-2010 02:04 AM

Governments control or regulate most businesses. Why should SEs be different.

Maybe they will stop Google pirating?

They are working on a lot of laws like these in Europe.
Had it been in North Korea they would call it "fascism" och "communism".

EU is smarter then that. They call it "anti- terrorism" or "monitoring risky behaviour".

Either way, the free internet of the 90`s is never coming back again.

Not so stupid

but it will create another problem: censorship

IllTestYourGirls 07-28-2010 06:23 AM

Good way for google to no longer be the number one search engine, hand it over to the government.

Lucky Bastard 07-28-2010 06:56 AM

Fucked up idea that one.
