I'm not defending ARS, I'm simply saying I was there two days ago (actually to see if it was still up) and it was and I was able to login with no errors. So *I think* it's an error, not them closing up.

I don't send ARS any traffic, haven't in years.

And I don't think I "shit" on other companies. Yes, it's too bad people have gone out of business and I think the WMs should be paid. But I truly don't think I've said anything worse or even close to others.

I think that the companies that are closing up shop could afford to stay alive and pay WMs on existing sales at least. Go down to a revshare, etc.

That would be a pretty big wow if they just went and fucked off.

I had always been happy with ARS. Made quite a bit of money over the years. Out of the blue last week I get an email announcing that my ARS account is locked due to the following reason: "The last 2-3 weeks have shown overwhelming fraudulent activity". I am a high volume affiliate and push some 200+ sponsors, across all of them I have a very low chargeback rate (was non existent until the industry started going to shit).

So I write back, explaining how I promote them, sites I have their ads on, etc. I also explain I have minimal chargeback rates elsewhere and that I have never participated in "fraudulent activity". Their response is that they are forwarding it on to higher management and they will let me know the status "soon". This was 7 days ago and I still have not received a response. They assure my my traffic and sales are still being counted but I cannot login to my account so I am not so sure.

Though I haven't made a ridiculous amount of money with them, I have done roughly 15k over the past year and a half according to Stats Remote. It is not a good business practice to lock my account before initiating contact given my history with them.

I will come back and update my post if and when I hear back from them... :disgust

We have been working on a massive update to the mysql database and it is taking a bit longer than expected. We are working on the login issue and things will be back online very soon. We are tracking hits and sales for account, so nothing to worry about there. Sorry for not getting in here quicker.

Problem solved! I was just able to get back in touch with **** and they have released the hold from my account. I completely understand the need for companies to do inspections to combat fraud, just wish they had not put my account on hold before speaking to me. I shouldn't have jumped the gun and posted this, just seemed as though I was not the only one having issues and wanted to voice my concerns.

At any rate, I have made good money with ARS and now that this is taken care of I look forward to making lots more! :thumbsup

And I'd do it again as far as an affiliate paying for a google adword for the fucking name of the site. That IS NOT what an affiliate is supposed to do. You can run your dick skinners from now until doomsday and I could care less. An affiliate is supposed to bring NEW eyes to a program, which is what I do when I promote a site.

Shoehorn was paying for the keyword that the paysite ALREADY was number one for. That is NOT being a hard working affiliate. And in my opinion is a goddamn joke.

I sure do hope ARS is okay. Isn't Becky running that ship now? ARS has been very good to me when I was doing primarily adult. Can't go wrong with 2 Inspiron laptops, 2 Xbox consoles, Two George Foreman grills, and a shitload of other rewards. Thanks for the memories, ARS.
