SEO - Submit to directories?
 

Is there any point in submitting sites to directories? Can it even hurt my ranking?
I'm not going to submit to 600000000 directories but more like 300 directories with good PR.

What do you think?

make 600 just for sure..

answers here will be priceless, go and try it by yourself, nothing better than your own experience :)

i mean, build ten sites, submit one to ten directories, second to twenty directories, third to fifty directories and so, then wait few weeks and you will see the results, then do what was working, say hi to the money :)

Depends on the directory. Doubt you could find 300 worth submitting to.

Some of those directories are worthless. Dont spend too much $$ doing that.

You might run into a hundred that are on the same server too. Again worthless

it cant hurt unless you submit to a bunch of sites. and then do no more promotions
