In my neighborhood the garbage men will take anything. If a stray animal gets into something and tears it open, they will pick up all of the little pieces. If a can is too full the driver will get out and help the guy on the back. None of that lazy shit that goes on in the UK. Here I thought Americans were lazy, but I guess our garbage men are the best!

Do they take electronic and heavy garbage as well?

If anything is too big it is considered bulk trash and they have special days for that where they come with a big truck and a trailer if you call them ... included in collection fees.
