yup,thats excatly what I thought when I was sitting there. There is a cameo with Arnold in there. Bruce Willis asks, "why is he so uptight" ? Stallone answers, "he wants to be president". Yeah OK, brought the laughs on, but nothing to do with the already weak plot of the movie:disgust

It may be a pretty average movie for the first 2/3, but that last 20 minutes was absolutely batshit crazy. I've never seen so much shootin and blowin up and bone breakin. I got what I paid for -- and the theater I saw it in was cheering at the right moments.

The scene of Terry Crews eviscerating a hallway full of soldiers with a full auto shotgun was worth the price of admission, and almost brought the roof down in the theater.

It may not have started well, but it ended strong as a motherfucker.

I can't believe everyone will listen to one person and change their plans. Do some looking around the internet and you'll see that quite a few people liked it.

hey, you said 2/3 average, (or below) !! I m sorry the last 20 mins does'nt make up for it:2 cents: as good as it may have been.

That's just my thing. I can be won over in the last act of a movie, regardless of a lukewarm feeling for the first parts.

If you like some good ol' fashioned stabbin and shootin violence, then there's some good shit to enjoy in The Expendables, if you can stomach some of the dialogue, which will bring some cringes.

I think I'm going to check it out tomorrow.

I'm a fan of Stallones movies...I know they aren't gonna be "artsy" or even "good" in the traditional sense. I just enjoy a good testosterone driven fighting and killing movie every once in a while to waste some time.

I promise to watch a Meryl Streep movie or something later this week to get me back in balance. :1orglaugh

There is no way I am not going to watch it. No matter how many people hate it and even if I genuinely believe it is going to suck, I am watching it.

I am about 50% sure its going to suck though.

if you saw the trailer you already saw the best parts of a very bad movie.

I was going to go watch it, but maybe I'll just wait for it to come out on PPV.

if you go into this expecting anything other tha pure cheese, expect to be disappointed. i however love cheese. this movie is failsafe for cheese lovers...
