For The Troops -- Please Forward to Others!

When I got to an air base near Seattle after being in Vietnam as a unit commander in an Infantry Div during the enemy's Tet Offensive, Red Cross women strongly suggested that we change into civilian clothes before going to the Airport for our onwards civilian flights home--they cited war protesters who were spitting on military. Thankfully, today's Americans are patriotic and support the troops even if they politcally don't support the war.

This might really catch on, and we could assist by forwarding it to web site members, et.al.

Subject: IT IS SO EASY ...

PLEASE WATCH THE SHORT VIDEO AND FORWARD TO EVERYONE IN YOUR ADDRESS BOOK.
AN EXCELLENT WAY TO SHOW GRATITUDE TO OUR MILITARY PERSONNEL.

This is pretty neat.....(2:30 second video)... Have you ever seen one of our military
walking past you and wanted to convey to them your thanks, but weren't sure
how, or it felt awkward?

Recently, a gentleman from Seattle created a gesture which could be
used to express your thanks and has started a movement to get the word
out..

Please everybody take just a moment to watch..... The Gratitude Campaign
...and then forward it to your friends!

THEN START USING THE SIGN.

Thanks Dave, hope all is well with you.

That is a universal gesture of gratitude so perfect for the occasion.

I've also seen that gesture in Saudi Arabia when I was stationed there--like you said, it's universal! Believe me, our troops will welcome it!

Let's grab a cup of coffee the next time you're in San Diego, Far-L.
