Need help writing a good covering letter
 

I'm thinking of working on a cruise ship (don't laugh) I need to write a good covering letter in hope of getting an interview. There are many differnt jobs I can get on the cruise ship all unskilled jobs, so things like cleaning pool, working behind bar, serving meals.

I'm really bad at writing things like covering letters so if there is anyone that can help out I would be really thankful.

I wish I had the exact letter but it was something like:
