Just like Acacia, they will go after the lowest hanging fruit first. After they have enough of those in the bag, they'll go after bigger bananas.

I think myspace should go after NASA

I hope someone starts protecting their brand. Shit is just out of hand.

Facebook isn't interested in a case. They just want to strong arm people out of their business names. Going to court is not on their list.

i'm surprised they haven't already considering fuckbook is an obvious rip off of facebook designed to make money off of facebook's success.

that being said facebook can eat a big bowl of dicks.

facebook can attack social type of sites

lazycash 08-28-2010 12:36 PM

I've been shocked that they haven't done anything up to this point.

I'm surprised they haven't gone after sites that use shit like "The Facebook of Sex" in advertisements. There's nothing "confusingly similar" or "questionable bad faith" about that...that's their exact name being used in bad faith in advertising.

That said, MySpace has tried this with "space", Apple with "pod", and as far as I'm aware they didn't get too far.

I think ifits a social networking site with book in the name they will. probably have to see how the first law suit turns out. but ebay goes after domains that have stube hub in name so you can expect that to be the case. even if its canstubehub dotcom
